Rinat Kuramshin is a Russian and British artist, ethnographer, public figure, Honorary member of the Russian Academy of arts, member of the Coordination Council of Russian compatriots of Great Britain, Chairman of the section "Ethnographic Art" of the Creative Union of artists of Russia. As Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ethno Art Fest Museum, he promotes the development of Museum activities and the organization history, culture and art Projects. As an ethnographer, Rinat Kuramshin conducts research in the field of cultural activities of ethnic Diasporas in the UK, the European Union, the Russian Federation, CIS countries, Asia, Africa, as well as in other countries.
Rinat Kuramshin is the author of a gallery of portraits of outstanding people of culture and art, who have had a significant impact on the formation of the world historical and cultural heritage. He created portraits of writers: L. Tolstoy, J. Byron, A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, A. Chekhov, F. Dostoevsky, I. Turgenev, E. Hemingway and many others; Portraits of composers: P. Tchaikovsky, S. In the art of Rinat Kuramshin, considerable attention is paid to the theme of theatre, music, opera and ballet. He worked on the paintings of this series in Russia, Great Britain, France, Italy and other countries. The artist was very impressed by the theatrical, staged and behind-the-scenes life of the Bolshoi Theatre, Mariinsky Theatre (bore was known as the Kirov Theatre), Mikhailovsky Theatre (bore the name of Modest Mussorgsky), the Royal Opera House (Covent Garden) in London, Paris Opera (Grant Opera) and other theatres and creative collectives of Russia and Europe.
