Tsiskaridze Nikolai Maksimovich (born in 1973) - Russian ballet dancer and teacher, the soloist of ballet of the Bolshoi theatre in the years 1992-2013, People's artist of Russia (2001), people's artist of North Ossetia, twice winner of the State prize of Russia (2000, 2002), three times winner of the theatrical award "the gold mask".   The present career for a dancer began when he in a short period has performed principal roles in such ballets as "the Nutcracker" by Yuri Grigorovich, "Chipollino" by G. Mayorov, "Les Sylphides" by Fokine, "La Sylphide" by A. Bournonville. He made his debut in The blue bird in the Sleeping beauty and in miniatures of Kasyan Goleizovsky's Narcissus and Mikhail Fokin's Vision of the Rose. He became the first performer of the role of Hermann in Roland Petit's ballet the Queen of spades, created specifically for the Bolshoi theatre. Their party in the Bolshoi theatre prepared with G. Ulanova and M. Semenova, N. Simachev and N. Fadeechev.
